IT Technician serves as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues. This individual is responsible for providing initial diagnostic support, performing basic hardware and software troubleshooting, and coordinating ticket escalation to senior staff when necessary. The ideal candidate is a patient problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals preferred.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and basic familiarity with MacOS or Linux.
- Networking:
Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
- Hardware:
Ability to swap hardware components (RAM, hard drives) and troubleshoot local and networked printers.
Core Competencies
- Communication:
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and professionally.
- Reliability:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Discretion:
Must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company data and user information.
